Ladycross Infant and Nursery School

Curriculum

Ladycross Infant and Nursery School is currently conducting a comprehensive review and adaptation of our curriculum.  We consulted with school stakeholders including pupils, parents and staff.

Putting this information together with our understanding of good quality teaching and the needs of children in the local community, we have begun redeveloping our curriculum with our pupils needs at it’s heart.

We are adapting our already engaging curriculum to include more links to our local community, increase links to local communities with greater cultural diversity, more real world applications for skills and knowledge gained, more wow sessions and clear progression of skills which moves from nursery through to year 2.

Below is the long term planning for early years (nursery and reception), year 1 and year 2.
